Frequently Asked Questions
Who Should Come?
All alumni and undergraduates are encouraged to attend. The weekend is meant to be a celebration of our brotherhood. The purpose of the capital campaign and the renovation of our chapter house was to sustain and strengthen our brotherhood and the focus of the weekend will be on what makes our brotherhood valuable and meaningful. The capital campaign concluded in 2025 and there will be no solicitation of alumni during the weekend. It does not matter whether you participated in the campaign or not – you should come!
Are Guests Invited?
Absolutely! Please bring your spouse or significant other. If you bring a guest, please be sure to purchase two tickets so that we have an accurate count of the number of participants for the banquet on Saturday night and the other activities planned for the weekend.
Are Advance Ticket Purchases Required to Attend?
Yes, advance ticket purchases are required! Your ticket covers all of the activities for the weekend. Space at the Saturday evening Statler Hotel banquet is limited to 250 guests. Alumni and undergraduates are encouraged to purchase tickets this spring.
Are There Recommendations Regarding Lodging?
Alumni are asked to make lodging choices on their own.
How Can I Contribute To The Celebration?
Pictures!!! We’d love to get photos of our brotherhood out in the world - weddings, golf outings, picnics, world travel, wherever brothers gathered and there is photographic evidence. There will be a montage running during the weekend - be part of it!. Send photos to pikesintheworld@icloud.com.
Why Did the Date Change?
The originally scheduled weekend (Sept 25-27) is parents weekend at Cornell. People found lodging very scarce and what little was available was very expensive. We suspect many would have needed to stay as far away as Elmira. We've verified that at this time lodging is readily available for the new dates.
Is This Event Tax Deductable?
The weekend is a social event. As a consequence no costs are eligible for a tax deduction.
